Pedagogy

Our pedagogy involves many components for the overall development of the child, which are included in the curriculum itself.

Self Smart:

Play is seen as the primary way. Children learn and explore the world around them. WonderKids utilizes this theory and provides a variety of activities to develop the concentration and focus of the children -

  • Conceptual learning

  • Sitting tolerance games and activities

  • Learning dance

  • Rhymes and actions

  • Balancing activities and many more

Empathy,Moral Values and Care of Environment:

Our aim is to help children develop social skills like cooperation, communication, sharing, and conflict resolution. Thus our activities include -

  • Storytelling 

  • Roleplay

  • Group activities to learn about sharing and caring, stories on importance of environment and its care etc.

 

They also focus on emotional regulation, self-awareness, and building positive relationships. This helps in the language, social and emotional development of the child.

Word Smart:

We introduce children to basic concepts in literacy, through engaging activities and exploration.

 

Activities include -

  • Reading, writing, storytelling, and phonics.

  • English readiness program

  • Grammar, 

  • New languages introduction (Basic Kannada & Hindi)

Logic Smart:

We introduce children to basic concepts in math and other cognitive skills, through engaging activities and exploration.

 

Activities include -

  • Numbers

  • Sorting of various objects

  • Jigsaw puzzles

  • Wooden peg board activities

  • Building blocks

  • Memory games and many more

This facilitates the mental development and logical thinking of the child.

Sensory Spark:

 

Sense organs development is one of the most important milestones in the overall development of children. WonderKids ensures that a variety of activities are done for each of the sense organs with Montessori materials and other teaching aids.

Practical life lessons include -

  • Hygiene awareness

  • Activities like zipping-unzipping

  • Buttoning

  • Beading and threading

  • Pouring

  • Table manners and many more

Fun with Science:

 

Pre-schooling is the right age to spark the thoughts of “how” and “why” in children, to create curiosity and inquisitiveness in children. We have a wide variety of simple science experiments to be demonstrated and tried –

Creativity:


A creative mind is a healthy mind. Creativity boosts the mood of children, enhances their problem-solving skills and develops emotional intelligence and fine motor skills. Hence, we have a number of activities for
